ADP Dealer Services provides integrated technology solutions to about 25,000 auto, truck, motorcycle, marine, recreational vehicle and heavy equipment dealers throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and South America.


The Challenge

The ADP Dealer Services Division needed 11 consultants for 10 projects in Training and Organization Development over a period of several years. Projects ranged from management training in the U.S. and Europe, a Leadership Development Needs Assessment to facilitation of Customer Focus Groups, Executive Development, Management Consulting, Management Kick-off Meeting facilitation and Employee Retention, and demanded highly qualified, specialized consultants. Because these projects were fairly small, of short duration and cost was an issue, finding independent consultants was determined to be the best course of action.

The Solution

ADP Senior VP of Human Resources, Peggy Jude, contracted with Fulcrum Network and put its independent referral network to the task. Beginning in the fall of 1996, Fulcrum Network began searching for specialized consultants on behalf of ADP. Almost immediately a number of qualified consultants were identified. For each engagement, Fulcrum presented a variety of consultant options to ADP. With the Fulcrum Network process, all engagements were successfully referred.
