The Bosch name stands for competence and product diversity. They offer products and services globally in a variety of sectors including automotive equipment, power tools and accessories, thermo-technology, household appliances, communications, and automation and packing machines.


The Challenge

The Learning and Development function of Bosch faced a steady stream of demanding projects. Over the course of the past 11 years, they needed 8 consultants for 13 projects ranging from Customer Service Training to Executive Coaching, Leadership Development and Sales training. They immediately turned to a resource yet untapped by many Training, HR and OD professionals.

The Solution

Fulcrum put its independent referral network to the test and sourced a bevy of highly qualified consultants with experience in exactly the disciplines required. What's more, Fulcrum provided a choice of consultants for each of the projects. Two of the contractors served as facilitators of a variety of internally developed Leadership training programs, Fulcrum's resources custom designed and delivered customer service and collaboration skills training as well as trained Bosch's internal consultants on facilitation and consulting skills. Fulcrum provided 3 different executive coaches in local areas so that the coaching sessions could take place, on-site and in person and we even provided gender/workplace transition training.
